Video summary: Efficacy of adjunctive photodynamic therapy in stage II – IV grade C Periodontitis

Due to the good clinical results in severe cases of aggressive periodontitis, the well-known antibacterial photodynamic therapy (aPDT) is an appropriate therapeutic option. In order to find out whether this therapy is suitable for severe or mild instances of disease, researchers from Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences conducted a meta-analysis.

The authors prepared a video summary of their study: Extent of clinical attachment loss as a practical parameter in efficacy of adjunctive photodynamic therapy in stage II – IV grade C Periodontitis (Aggressive periodontitis): A systematic review and meta-analysis.
